Fehér RIP

The first mother dog of the BELATOHEGYI kuvasz kennel has passed away on 10 March. Being first is always special, so she was special to us as the mother of our first three litters. FEHER’s talent, smart mind, and hypersensitivity amazed us countless occasions. She was not only the mother of three litters but also got the Champion Polski title. You could follow the first couple months of the puppies on this blog. I hope that the descendants will take forward FEHER and VEZER’s good traits of this species and talent. In farewell I post a picture of her what I took in autumn on our terrace of her. FEHER rest in peace!

Vezér RIP

Vezér has gone. He was a special dog. He has given us so much joy by his talent, individuality, wisdom, behaviour, nature, passion, obedience and loyalty.

He was the reason why I started with this blog, got to know other Hungarian breeds, met other baas, breeders and dog lovers.

I would like to express my gratitude to his breeder György Fekete now, that I got Vezér from him an exceptional dog from the kuvasz breed. Vezér has lived twelve and half years. Vezér rest in peace.

The nobility epitome

Recently in Poland in a local magazine in Bialystok one article was published explaining the Hungarian national treasure the kuvasz breed. This article presented the kuvasz with two of my dogs Fehér and Vezér as examples of the race. On the photo you can see the copy of the article.

Szczecin CACIB 18 June 2011

Feher has participated in the Szczecin 2011 CACIB (XIX Szczecin International Pedigree Dog Show). There were only a handful Hungarian breeds, one pumi and three short hair hungarian vizsla participated in the contest.

Feher after her performance in 2010 has received the Polish Champion title.

C Litter during the winter of 2010

This winter was not so harsh than last year and the thermometer dropped less times under -20C degree. This did not mean too much to the puppies, they enjoyed playing with each other and their Mom in the snow anyway. I did not publish pictures of Vezér nowadays so I do it now. He was seven years old last November.

Kuvasz Club Show, 03 Oct 2010

The Kuvasz Club Show 2010 took place at Rátót, Hungary on the yard of the Kálmán Széll Castle. Our "B" litter was represented by Bitang (B like Bydgoszcz). This was Bitang's first show and as you can see he was doing well despite of his lack of experience and routin. I thank his owner who took part in the contest although he was really engaged with his duties that time.

C5 - what is not a car brand

Letter C is related to the sequence sign used in breeding for this litter, and 5 is related to the puppies' number. The puppies are moved outdoor and spend most of their time without their mother, and as you see their predation and defensive instincts are revived. For those who just surfed to this site C5 happened after A9 and B7 in our breeding history.
